Currently, I enlighten students at Herriman High through a diverse curriculum, including Regular U.S. Government, AP Government, and a pioneering Project-Based UDL Government Course designed to engage learners in active and inclusive educational experiences.
Beyond the classroom, I lead the People of Pacific Club, where I nurture a community of students exploring the rich tapestry of Pacific cultures. This role underscores commitment to enhancing student life and fostering a vibrant school community.
At the young age of 12, I embarked on a remarkable journey into the world of technology by building my first computer. This endeavor was not just a pastime but a pivotal moment that unveiled my passion for technology and problem-solving. Starting with a mix of curiosity and a collection of components, I navigated through the complexities of assembling a PC. The process taught me the value of patience, research, and resilience. Each step, from selecting the right motherboard to installing the operating system, was a learning curve that fueled my fascination with how technology shapes our world. This early venture into computer assembly laid the foundation for my lifelong interest in technology and innovation.
Off campus, I discuss political discourse through my political podcast, where I dissect and discuss pressing political issues, demonstrating a passion for politics that extends well beyond the classroom walls.
Balancing a profound professional life, I am also a proud parent of two and has shared 15 wonderful years of marriage with my spouse, grounding my professional achievements in a rich personal life.
