AI can make us vulnerable to sharing our data and believing misinformation. This session is about providing strategies to counteract those risks and increase human connection and trust. Through real-life dilemmas, this session demonstrates how AI impacts our ability to trust what we see and the ways in which we, as humans, connect.

Recognize the potential risks and benefits of giving up private information about yourself and others (facial recognition, social media participation, AI use)

Explore the evolution of AI tools in schools and how they impact peer relationships (think Friend AI, and Chatbot tutors) and articulate the benefits/risks of humanizing AI technology and its impact on human relationships (chatbots, AI companions)

Implement lessons and resources to develop healthy digital habits around privacy, security and human relationships
