About me
I am a social studies teacher-leader who inspires and motivates students to be engaged learners and extend their learning into our communities. I teach US History I and American Institutions and Issues. I focus on building civil discourse in the the classroom, aligning current events into lessons, and incorporating civic education within classes, schools, and LEAs. I am currently a Hope Street Group - Utah Teacher fellow and I advocate for cross content civic education, connecting with stakeholders and building networks of support with law and policy makers.
