UCET 2025

I currently work as a Multicultural Advisor guiding students from through their academic journeys. In my role, I have created pedagogical artifacts for our college readiness camp, student cultural shares, and outreach efforts both on and off campus. I have also worked with pre-service teachers and their mentors through Brigham Young University’s Spanish teaching program. Research interests: Biliteracy, multicultural literacy, authentic culture, language and identity, Spanish as a heritage language, appreciative advising, assets based approach, culturally sustaining pedagogy.
