About me
An avid reader, mother of 3 small children, and a regular user of libraries, I believe in the power of public spaces and believe they are truly palaces for the people. I have worked for PBS Utah as Education Coordinator for 2 1/2 years, in which I facilitate the distribution of educational tools PBS has to offer. Priorities include deepening and expanding community partner relationships (especially libraries) through our successful annual programs, namely, the Writers & Illustrators Contest and the Reading Marathon & Adventure Pass. Prior to working at PBS Utah, I worked for Utah Community Action as a head start teacher and believe strongly that investment in quality early childhood development through supporting the whole family is how we succeed as neighborhoods and communities. I have a master's in Human Development and Social Policy from the University of Utah.
