About me
I am a high school social studies teacher and Utah Teacher Fellow. I teach at Granger High School in West Valley City, Utah, where I also serve as the World Geography PLC lead and sophomore girls' volleyball team coach. I have been in education for over 10 years and have taught AP Human Geography, Contemporary American Social Issues, Economics and Financial Literacy, Humanities, Michigan History, Psychology, U.S. History, World Geography, World History and Geography (Eastern Hemisphere). Before Utah, I taught in Michigan and Florida. I earned a B.A. in History and Social Science with a political science minor as well as an M.A. in History from Central Michigan University.
My interests include project-based learning, interdisciplinary curriculum, technology integration, and education policy.
