About me
Cameron Milien is currently the Director of Educational Development at Mission.io. With almost a decade of experience in curriculum development, classroom teaching, and educational leadership, Cameron is passionate about designing and refining innovative educational experiences to develop more engaged learners and more effective teachers. She is skilled at implementing and advocating for best practices in blended pedagogy and infusing literacy skills and social-emotional learning into all content areas. Prior to making the transition from the classroom to the world of EdTech, she was a secondary educator across multiple grade levels and subject areas, including AP Psychology, English-Language Arts, and Creative Writing. Cameron holds a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Union University. She recently led a similar session on how to integrate cross-curricular literacy with STEM at the Utah Science Teachers Association conference in October 2024.
