About me
With a rich and diverse teaching career spanning over 25 years, I am a dedicated educator passionate about nurturing young minds. For the past 18 years, I have specialized in teaching musical theater, igniting creativity and self-expression in students through the performing arts. My experience extends to two years of intervention teaching in math and reading, where I developed personalized strategies to support student success.
In the last five years, I embraced the role of a virtual kindergarten and first-grade teacher with Weber School District, adapting to the evolving educational landscape and pioneering innovative online learning experiences. Currently, I am teaching kindergarten at Valley Elementary, where I continue to foster a love for learning in our youngest students.
A lifelong learner myself, I am enthusiastic about discovering new tech tools and integrating them into the classroom to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. My commitment to education is driven by a love for teaching and a belief in the transformative power of learning.
