Scott Christensen brings nearly 20 years of experience in education as a teacher, instructional coach, and specialist in grades K-12 in public schools and charter schools from Washington State, Florida, North Dakota, and Utah. He has taught English/Language Arts in grades 7-11, including Creative Writing and Journalism, and is currently a Secondary English Language Arts Specialist in Canyons School District. Prior to his career in education, Scott worked as a screenwriter in Los Angeles where he would often be asked to guest teach screenwriting at a local high school. It was in these classrooms that he discovered his passion in supporting students to tell their own stories - a passion that continues through today in working daily to empower students so they can say something back to the world. Scott earned his Masters Degree from the University of Puget Sound.
