Cut Through the AI Hype: Practical AI Strategies That Work
Wednesday February 26, 2025 3:15pm - 4:15pm MST
Tired of the flashy AI tools that promise the world but leave you more overwhelmed? This session is designed to help you cut through the noise and focus on what really works in your classroom. We’ll start by tackling the most draining parts of teaching—those repetitive tasks that take your energy away from the parts you love. Through live demonstrations and examples, you’ll learn practical AI strategies that can streamline your workflow and free you up to focus on what truly matters: teaching.  But it doesn’t stop there. AI is here to stay, and the best way we can prepare our students for the future is by equipping them with the human skills that AI can’t replace—critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and adaptability. In this session, we’ll explore why transdisciplinary education is key to future-proofing your students and how to implement it effectively, with hands-on demonstrations of what it can look like. You’ll leave with actionable strategies, grounded in real classroom examples, that you can apply immediately to transform your teaching and inspire your students to think and act beyond the textbook.  If you’re ready to rethink how AI can enhance both your teaching practice and your students’ future-readiness, this session is for you.
