Jostin Grimes, NLP’s senior manager of District Partnerships, West, will demonstrate how to use Checkology, an e-learning platform with engaging, authoritative lessons on subjects like news media bias, misinformation, conspiratorial thinking and more. Participants will be able to register for the platform and try out lessons. We will also review other resources, such as infographics and quizzes and discuss various approaches to teaching news literacy.
