As an educational leader and advocate, Jackie is dedicated to equity and closing the achievement gap. She currently works as a Mathematics Coach for Salt Lake School District, where she supports the professional growth of her colleagues in mathematics to improve student achievement. Jackie is a recipient of the Achieving Higher Award in 2014 and the Telitha Lindquist Greiner Excellence in Teaching Award in 2018. Additionally, Jackie serves on the UCTM board as Vice President, is an English as a Second language course facilitator through SUU and has experience planning, developing, and deploying strategic district-wide professional development. Prior to Jackie’s current position, she was a classroom teacher and has experience in 1st through 6th grade. Jackie lives in Farmington with her husband, Allan, and 3 children, who love math just as much as she does.
