About me
April Stevenson has been a member of the Utah Middle Level Board since 2018 and currently serves as the President. She has worked in Granite School District for 14 years teaching “in the middle” 4th grade through 9th grade. She transitioned from the elementary upper grades to a Junior High 4 years ago. She and the UMLA board have spent the last year reviewing the Association of Middle Level Education’s publication “The Successful Middle School: This We Believe” to better understand the “Best Practices” paired with reality to support middle level educators.
