About me
Hi there! I have a BA in English Literature and AS in Legal Studies. I have had a varied work history in the legal, education and medical fields before transitioning into tech. I am passionate about serving iIn the community, advocating for equitable opportunities and continuing to learn.
At Skill Struck, I wear many hats. I am the Support Manager, Quality Assurance lead and the High School Intern Coordinator/Advisor. I help teachers troubleshoot issues and student code, then help them get the most of the platform. I absolutely love working with our intern cohort each semester and helping them be part of the Skill Struck team. All students deserve an equitable chance at learning the skills they need to succeed. Coding is for everyone!
I am also the oldest of seven siblings, a wife to Clark, a mother of three great kids, and a grandmother to two (being a grandma is my favorite!). I enjoy traveling, reading, sewing, service and community projects, live concerts and spending time with my family.
